Things we've been doing

Mary always asks to swing after school.

Reading to Rosie.

A playground stop after visiting Anna, Einar and Sonja. Mary wasn't wearing the best play shoes, but she made do.

Off to another slide.

Upside down dudda.

Sweet potato eyebrows.

Some piano playing before ballet.

Mary wanted to be shirtless like Pabbi to do some lunges.

Then it was time to get ready for the pool...and wear Pabbi's shorts.

A snack on the counter after the pool.

Watching "Wreck it Ralph."

The movie is an emotional roller coaster.

Rosie's turn to wear the headband.

Sunday morning manicure. Mary insisted she could do it herself.

"See, Mama? I can do nail polish!"

The finished product, after cleaning off the red polish and letting Mama take over.

Weekend roundup

Rosie acted like she didn't know there was an elephant on her head. Oh wait, maybe she really didn't know...

The forehead bandaid never gets old.

Showing off her new mittens. Mary even slept in them. All night.

Singing the alphabet song for Rosie.

Enjoying a bottle while Mama is out.

Out for a walk.

Seaside workout.

Parallel bars.

The workout continues at Amma and Afi's house.

Playing Axis and Allies. Pabbi is so proud.

Both girls were groggy this morning.

Sitting with some friends.

Taking advantage of the snow.

Fun with tables.

Getting down and dirty in the mud.

Mary is playing the part of the wheelbarrow on the right.

Weekend activities

Playing inside during some nasty weather.

Mary didn't understand why I wouldn't let her eat the snow. It was pretty obvious to me.

Tower time.

One of the many stops Mary made on our way to the florist.

Mary was so good she got to pick out a flower. We found a way for her to carry it herself.

After brunch at Anna and Einar's Sonja wanted to join us as we left.

Octopus

Rosie on the left, and Mary on the right. Both munching on the same octopus.

Mary still loves to hold Rosie on her lap, but it's becoming more difficult as Rosie grows!

Toes!

Mary made it clear she didn't need my help to walk on the wall. And she was right :-).

Making pizza.

Baking my birthday cake. Chocolate, of course.

Trying on my birthday present from Anna, Einar, and Sonja.

A quick picture before Rosie spit up on her party outfit.

Just before we blew out the candles together.

Sonja knew just what to do when I took out the camera.

Some of the ladies.

Rosie loves to show off how flexible she is.

"Mama, Sonja can't climb up here like I can."

Smoothie face!

Time for some reading.

"Mama, does this look fancy?"
