Spanish vacation!

We just got back from being in Spain for two weeks so there are a lot of photos to catch up on.

 

The beach is the perfect place for some watermelon.

Mary was super tired after school on Tuesday, and then I realized she had a fever :-(.

  

She stayed home the next day, but was in good spirits and had no symptoms other than a fever.

 

Sometimes the vacuum got really loud and Mary had to cover her ears.

A day at the beach

We had great weather today so we headed to the beach. It wasn't suitable for swimming (even if there is warm water pumped into the cove), but Mary had a blast playing in the sand.

 

I planted myself on the towel and mostly observed :-).

 

Mary attempted to fill her bucket, one shovel-full at a time.

Mary was so tired from all the fun she fell asleep during the 10 minute car ride home.

It looks like Mary has a new friend in Oddur (Sonja's cousin).

 

Munching on bread at the duck pond. Apparently we're not supposed to feed the ducks at this time of year since they have plenty of food and the bread will only attract unwanted birds.
