Playing around

Here are some photos of our play time today.

Riding on Pabbi's shoulders.

And then Mama's. Notice that the phone didn't leave Mary's hand.

Hugging her dragon. The blurriness of Mary's hand shows how vigorously she was patting him.

Still working on the somersaulting, but she can't get past this point without help.

Snow day!

We went out to explore the snow this morning. We're dealing with some cabin fever since we can't drive anywhere and most places are closed.

Mary was a very cautious walker. I don't think she realized that with all the padding she was wearing she would hardly feel it if she fell down.

She was a real trooper since the snow was still coming down and it was pretty windy.

Mary thought wearing sandals would take our minds off of the snow.

It wasn't long before she wanted to change into her slippers.

Then it was time for a tea party.

Swim lessons

Mary took her first swimming lesson today. We expect her to be fully capable of swimming on her own by the end of the 8 week session ;-).

Warming up.

Kicking up a storm.

"Noodle this, Pabbi."

Quite proud of herself for balancing on the fish floaty.

Working it out

Mary wasn't very interested in bed last night so she decided it was a good time for a trip to the gym.

"See Mama? Your sneakers fit fine."

The scary part is that the shoes don't look all that big on her.

Grandparents galore

Mary got to spend an evening with all four of her Grandparents this week and she was in heaven.

Serving some strawberries to Afi.

And one for Amma too.

Playing Peek-a-boo barn with Nana.

Glasses

Mary felt left out when she saw Mama's new glasses so I let her try them on.

Professor Mary.

The unintentional close-up, as she was trying to grab the camera.

Vermont

Mary got to spend some quality time with her Icelandic family is Vermont over New Year's.

Hanging with Afi and Uncle Einar.

Mary was eager to get some sales in before bedtime.

Taking her new stroller and dolly for a spin.

Mary wasn't scared of the goggled intruders.

"Mama, what do you mean this stroller is too small for me?"

"Wake up Uncle Sveinn, you're missing out on all the fun!"

Auntie Anna's cookies were de-lish!

Ready to hit the slopes.

Mary was all about the puddle splashing.

Somersaulting with Uncle Einar.
