Summer house

We had a great weekend at a summer house on Lake Thingvellir.

The favorite activity of the weekend was rock throwing.

Time to relax and enjoy the view.

Bubbles!

Enjoying the sun.

School fun

Chickens at school.

Mary's turn.

Cousins :-).

Friends.

Table painting.

Then it turns into finger painting.

It's nice that Mary can get out some of her messiness at school.

Weekend fun

Rosie can't resist touching water, regardless of where it is.

"Quack quack!"

Seesaw!

Once Rosie finds something she likes she never wants to stop. This playground visit didn't end well.

Rosie loves to carry Rody around.

Iceland is a great place to fly kites -- no shortage of wind.

More ducks.

Dr. Rosie.

Face paint at Mary's school's summer party.

Cotton candy on Iceland's independence day: June 17th.

Soccer!

Everyone put on their Germany uniforms for the game, but the girls weren't paying as much attention as Bjossi.

Mary's Box at school is always full, and not necessarily with her own work: there's a toilet paper roll as well as some scraps from the trash. I think we have a packrat on our hands.

Rosie was grumpy after I wouldn't let her play in a stranger's stroller.

Testing the new swings at Amma and Afi's house. Rosie liked it so much she stayed for 20 minutes and cried when we removed her.

"Wheeeee!" Rosie loves spinning but can't hold on by herself so Bjossi had to join.

Sunny days

Watching fish.

Sun and Ice cream always go together.

Just a cone for Rosie. She gagged when I gave her a taste of my ice cream.

Hippie chick.

A broken soccer goal provides plenty of entertainment.

Examining some berries.

At the petting zoo.

Bouncing.

A train ride, sponsored by Cocoa Puffs.

Pigs!

Sheep really like dandelions, it turns out.

Springtime

Dandelions galore.

A bouquet.

Rainbow!

It looks like Rosie is really for her own buff. It's not my favorite accessory, but it's good for school.
