Snow!

Enjoying chocolate from their advent calendars.

Yummy brunch! Lesson learned: Rosie needs her own order of pancakes, otherwise I get short-changed.

Surprise visit from Amma during school pick-up.

Mary built a snowman in the school yard while Rosie played a bit. I think it took her less than 5 minutes since the snow was so wet and heavy.

Rosie's company in bed: Corduroy the book and the stuffed animal, "Queen Elsa," sheep and lambie. Plus her pillows and blanket.

Cookie decorating. The whole session went like this: Rosie over-decorating each cookie and Mary not wanting to miss out on a single sprinkle or drop of frosting.

Keeping busy

Book buddies.

Making sure her room has enough Hello Kitty.

Keeping two girls happy isn't easy.

Trying on a Christmas dress.

Mary's fits too!

The "big" girls club.

BFFs in the making.

Rosie is working on her zipper skills. I just hope she doesn't use them for evil (i.e. removing clothing and possibly other items in bed).

Catching up!

Mary hammed it up for the camera during a big-girl outing for hot cocoa.

Rosie is the master of wet kisses.

It was pretty cold out for a while.

All the girls wishing Sveinn a happy birthday.

When Rosie seeing Bjossi reading she says "Pabbi bok!" and runs to get her own.

"Mama, hi! Fingers...nose." At least she was accurate.

Some pre-breakfast dancing.

Hiking in some beautiful weather.

The girls

"Knús!"

Mary was determined not to "share" the rocks with Rosie.

Mary is getting braver at the playground.

Talking to our neighbor the bird.

The car wasn't quite big enough for the girls, but they enjoyed it enough to behave during our shopping trip.

Cousins!

School fun!

Little kid leaf decoration (Rosie is on the left).

Big kid leaf decoration (Mary is in the middle).

Time for snow pants and balaclavas (Mary is on the left).

Dancing!

Rosie participating during English instruction (she's on the right).

For some reason Rosie always wears her scarf as a cape.

 Rosie's thinking face.

Working hard :-).
