Christmas in Iceland

We've had a great Christmas in Iceland so far, even if we miss everyone in Boston.

Piecing together an outfit from Mama and Pabbi's wardrobes.

Dancing around in her Christmas dress.

Watching Dora with Einar Fraendi.

Sonja was excited to be part of the party.

Some post dinner relaxation.

Family picture.

Playing with her new umbrella.

Mary managed to squeeze her tooshie into the bumbo seat somehow.

"This is an elephant, Mama."

Exploring her new train set.

Playing with string and beads.

Lots o' pictures

Here are a bunch of pictures I've been meaning to post.

"I open my mouth and put Cheerios in!"

Playing Santa Claus with a big tummy.

Playing with her Rudolph toy that Santa Claus left in her shoe.

Playing with infant toys and sporting her Hello Kitty Buff.

Anna Fraenka and Sonja are here!

Relaxing in the Pabbi chair.

Helping Sonja with her dudda.

I think Sonja has a handful of my cheek in this picture, but I don't even care!

Snuggling on the couch.

Sonja needed lots of help with her dudda.

Weekend events

We found lots of fun things to do over the weekend once Mary was feeling better.

We tried playing hide-and-seek. It worked OK when Mama or Pabbi helped Mary, but this was the result when she was left to her own devices: "You can't see me!"

Mary took a turn behind the camera and chose to take a picture of her favorite nighttime pals.

Tucking mini baby into her new bed.

"Now she can't get out."

Time for some milk.

Of course Mary gets some food too.

Playing with playdough: "I'm using my fork."

Sick day

Mary stayed home from school yesterday because she was sick. Luckily she was up for some playing later in the day.

The finished Mr. Potatohead.

Then it was time for Mary to try some accessories.

I prefer this policeman's hat to the creepy green smile.

Then it was time to switch the laundry.

All wrapped up for Christmas.

Puzzling around

Mary rediscovered some puzzles the other day.

"Are these puzzles new, Mama?" No, but we can pretend they are :-).

The duck was thirsty.

Phone pics

Here are some pictures I took in Boston and after we got home to Iceland.

Making music.

Then time for weight lifting.

Lots of snow!

Rolling in the snow is fun when you're properly dressed.

Mary is much more eager to shop when she has her own cart.

Thanksgiving in Boston

Here are a bunch of pictures from our time in Boston.

Mary was very impressed with Chris's tickling skillz.

Watching some "Tom and Jerry" with Pop after Thanksgiving dinner.

Showing Grandpop her money.

"My money."

Helping Pop sweep the front walk.

Hanging with Uncle Jimmy and Conor.

Luckily I was prepared to spot Conor -- he is a roly poly little boy (it looks worse than it was!).

Conor and Uncle Bjossi got along well.

Lots of jumping.

I don't remember what Mary was saying, but it's clear Bossy Pants Mary was in full effect.

Showing Conor all the awesome features of the Jumperoo.

A visit with Mary's friend Evy.

The dancing was so intense that I couldn't get a non-blurry photo.
