Mary is working on kissing, but there are still a few kinks to iron out: slobber is an issue and sometimes she tries to sneak her tongue in.

Mary is working on scooting around the floor on her belly, unfortunately she can only go backward for now.

Mary is getting better at the sippy cup -- she actually swallows the water now, instead of spitting it out.

In the hood

Mary has learned how to remove hats on her own, which is a problem when we're out for walks. Hoods are still fair game, however.

We let Mary take a shot at eating some Cheerios and she thought it was a great game. Not many of them make it into her mouth, though.

Happy 2010

Mary rang in her first new year! She stayed up until midnight with us (she is still on Boston time) to watch the fireworks, but she wasn't impressed. Apparently loud noises and bright lights aren't as interesting as we thought.

My attempt to tame her hair was more effective than I intended. (I only used water!)

One last present to close out 2009.
